Animation: Taste

The taste I chose for this exercise is nutella and the video describes the struggle of getting nutella off the spoon and how nice it tastes once you can eat it!

Meg's Animation: Motion Tween with pencil drawn line

I drew a line with the pencil tool, copied and applied it to a motion tween on a symbol to attach it to it.

Meg's Animation Class: Classic Tweening

For this Animation we created symbols and added classic tweens which automatically put the key frames in between which allows for quick animating. I have also played around with the colours, all the changes are intentional! :p

Meg's Animation Class: Motion Tweening

For this animation Meg asked us to create a symbol and add a motion tween to it.

Animation with Meg 13/02/2015

Today Meg asked us to create a bouncing ball in Flash and then we added another ball trailing after and then characteristics. After that we turned it into a graphic and created a classic tween that lets the character jump over the whole frame!

Finished Blob Animation

This is my full blob animation complete with intro, obstacle and follow-through bushy tail! Apologies to Phil for making something cute again, I will try and better myself.

Blob Animation improved

Meg pointed out how I could improve my animation to make it look more real, so I took out lots of frames and changed the animation in a few parts and it turned out pretty well!
I have also started to add a squirrel tail to some of my key frames and will post that animation up when it's ready.

Blob Animation 2

This is the second part of my blob animation for Meg's class and it took me a long time to draw, but I'm happy with it. Let's see how the tail can add to it's flair!

Idea for animation

Today I scanned in the frames I have done for my Zeotrope animation so far and played them back at 24fps. The video starts with a present jumping into the frame, turning into a snowman who loses his head and picks it back up and turns back to the present which jumps out of the frame again. after seeing the loop animation a few times I am positive that there is too much action for one second so I will concentrate on the snowman scene and make sure that works well as a nice loop. If I have enough time I might do the present scene as a little bonus, as this was my first idea and I still quite like it, but I think the snowman is a more interesting animation!

Last weeks Animation!

Witch 001 01 from Mailin Berg on Vimeo.

I had so much fun creating this even though it's very fast and we all tried to be director so the story line is a bit... confused. What was the technique called again?

Animation homework: Ping Pong Ball

pingpong 001 02 (Converted) from Mailin Berg on Vimeo.

Practice in timing, it has gone wrong a little as the ball doesn't behave normally towards the end but I can only try and learn from it! Was fun to create though plus I'm slowly getting better at Dragon (with Vlad's help :D).

Videos from our Animation lessons, group 1 and 2

This video was  created in a small group with Tumo, Emma and me. We had 10 spaces to create a quick loop animation and then we tested it on this "teacup" and it worked well!

Sorry for the shaky camera! This is the whole video of group 1 and 2, the task was to make a quick drawing of the person right of me, then I copied the drawing that showed myself and had 10 frames in between to fill with a transformation, which resulted in a giant loop of faces!
