Life Drawing Last Lesson!

 

The last Life Drawing session of the year and I forgot to upload it! It was a pleasure to draw Lydia again and I'm sad that we don't have Vicky anymore, I've learnt so much!

Life Drawing 11/3/15

Today, Life Drawing was great fun as we all took part in drawing on post cards for the Post Nude Exhibition in Horsebridge! We started on a big canvas for practice and then moved onto A6 postcards which feel a bit restricting at the beginning, as it is fairly impossible to include a lot of detail into the drawing. It was great fun experimenting with the structure of the paper and I have to say that I'm pretty happy about all 4. :)

Vicky asked us to tape a brush / pencil / charcoal etc to a stick and draw with less control than we usually have, it was really fun!

 In this exercise we all put our canvas onto the floor and swapped after drawing for ~1min, leaving the brush we used behind!

I have made a picture every time the minute was over, so they are all different drawings at different stages.

I'm not too happy about any of those drawings, which might just be because I was sitting too close! Plus the perspective from the floor isn't always the best, I see Vicky's point now :p

Lydia was very lovely to draw and did very elegant poses!

If the quality of the pictures is worse than usually I apologize, I sent them as an email from my phone rather than copying them over onto the pc.
